Profiles
Mark Unwin
Mark Unwin — Chair, Marlborough Stadium Trust
Mark Unwin is Chair of the Marlborough Stadium Trust and a passionate supporter of community connection through sport, recreation, and shared space. He loves seeing the Stadium full of energy, from early morning swimmers to families enjoying weekend activities, and what it means for people of all ages across our region.
Mark lives and works in Marlborough, leading renewable energy and innovation initiatives at Marlborough Lines, and brings that same enthusiasm for community into his governance roles. He has contributed to local boards for many years, including the Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough and the Rainbow Ski Club, supporting youth development and outdoor participation.
When he’s not thinking about strategy or facilities, Mark can often be found on the water wing-foiling with the occasional unplanned swim at the bar and relishes every opportunity to get outdoors in Marlborough’s unique environment.
He is proud to be part of a team that keeps Stadium 2000 at the heart of community life, growing opportunities for health, connection, and fun every day.
