Front entrance
There are 4 accessible car parks at Stadium 2000, all at the front of the facility.
Entry is flat with automatic double doors.
Back entrance
There is ramp, with a small gradient and steps at the back entrance. There are no accessble car parks in the rear car park.

Information for Carers
Free Access - As a carer, you have free access to activities they are attending.
Support Role - Your role is to help the individual communicate and any personal care needed. This includes assisting hem through the centre and ensuring their safety during an emergency
Pool Assistance - You will be assist the individual in the pool if required or actively monitor from the poolside, depending on need.
Discount Cards accepted - We welcome the Community Services Card, and Super Gold Card
Ground Floor Information
Customer Service Desk - There is a lowered counter to the left of the counter.
Seek Assistance - Out staff are here to help you, please let them know if this is your first visit the Stadium 2000 and they can provide you assistance.
CPR Cafe - Located on the ground floor, towards the front of the building.
Subway - Located at the back entrance, you can order and pay at the counter
Courts - Stadium 2000 has 3 x International sized Courts that are used for Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Futsel, plus large events. They have flat access, through sets of double glass doors. There are a variety of seating options available on the courts, from bench seating to retractable seats.
Group Fitness Rooms - Programmes Rooms
These rooms facilitate a range of fitness classes, from Dance, Going for Gold, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates etc.
SAFETY
Emergency Evacuation Procedure
In an emergency, please let staff know if you need help. You will be guided by staff to exit the building safely. Staff will be able to provide blankets if there is an evacuation. Please DO NOT use the lift in an emergency.
Evacuation Chair for Emergencies
Located in the Gym Main Entrance - Left hand side, next to the extinguisher. Staff will help you safely get down the stairs.
CCTV Cameras
There are CCTV Camera operating at all times in and around the facility for safety reasons and to help us support customers.
AED and First Aid Kits (Automated external defibrillator)
In an emergancy, there are 3 AED’s and First Aid Kits available on site. One behind reception, one next to the Spa Pool and one upstairs in the Gym

Other Information
Earplugs - Feel free to use earplugs in the water. We also sell earplugs at reception
Seating - We have a variety of seating around the reception and the cafe.
Wheelchair availability - There are 2 x wheelchairs available for public use in the foyer at the front of the facility.
Accessible Toilets - There are 2 on the ground floor, under the stairs.
They have a toilet, handrail and sink.
Baby Change Tables - Located in the family change rooms,
Male and female pool side changing rooms.
Lift Access - The lift is next to Subway and takes you to the first floor, please ask s.taff if you require assistance.

POOLSIDE INFORMATION
Changing Rooms and Toilets
Entrance - There are Male and Female Toilets, and 2 x Accessible Toilets located under the stairs, left of entrance, behind CPR.
Poolside - There are Male and Female change rooms accessible from the pool hallway, which lead out to the pools.
Family Change/Gender Neutral Spaces - We have 8 Family Change areas, which can be used as a Gender Neutral space also. Most of the Family Change rooms have Baby Change Tables. There are 2 Adjustable Manual beds.
Baby Change Areas - Both Males and Females have Baby Change Tables
Poolside Accessible Bathrooms - There are 4 Accessible Bathrooms located next to the
Family Change Rooms on way to poolside.
They have sliding doors for entry. They contain - Adjustable Shower, Sink, Toilet, folding seat
There are no emergency buttons in these change rooms
Wet Wheelchair - This can be found on the lefthand side of the pool, as you come through the 1st Family Change/Spectator Entry
Mobility Equipment - You are welcome to leave your mobility equipment beside the pool, providing it doesn’t block any walkways or emergency exits. Our lifeguards can help you find a suitable place and bring your equipment back to you when you are ready to leave the pool.
Aquatic Hoist - Stadium 2000 has an aquatic hoist to assist customers to entry and exit the pools safely. This is free of charge, but a booking is required. This can be made at reception, by phone or by sending an email to customerservices@stadium2000.co.nz

STAFF AT STADIUM 2000
Customer Service Staff - They are at reception, and assist with payments, entry into the facility and general inquiries
Lifeguards - They are stationed around the pools and are responsible for keeping people safe in the water
Swimming Instructors - They teach swimming lessons in the pools
Personal Trainers - They provide one-on-one sessions and will help tailor a fitness program that best suits the individual
Group Fitness Instructors - They teach group fitness classes.
Operational Assistants - Provide clean and sanitary facilities

Access
The Gym can be accessed via one flight of stairs or the elevator, which is located in the foyer left of Subway. Please ask the staff to assist if you require an elevator and find it locked.

Members can access personalised fitness programmes created by our qualified instructors. These programmes are tailored to individual goals—whether strength, mobility, weight management, or overall fitness—and include regular check-ins to track progress.
Adapted Programmes
Stadium 2000 offers adapted programmes for people with diverse needs or specific health considerations. These customised plans focus on safety, confidence, and functional movement to support users of all abilities.
Adaptable Equipment
Our gym includes a range of adaptable and accessible equipment designed to meet varied abilities and fitness levels. This includes adjustable machines, functional training tools, and equipment suited for rehabilitation, mobility training, and general strength work.
MEZZANINE LEVEL
Elevator - The elevator from the ground floor will deliver to the mezzanine level. Please ask staff for assistance
Seating - available for spectators for the courts. Some stairs, but viewing is possible from the flat top floor.
Group Fitness Studio - used for various activities, such as Pump, and dance
Spin Room - contains lots of Spin Bikes for classes
Upstairs Bathrooms - located to the left of the stairs, both male and female contain accessible bathrooms with handrails and sliding doors
