meet the team

ricky white

Rick is the Health & Fitness Manager who looks after the gym, personal trainers, all group fitness, and our membership base. He’s focussed, energetic, disciplined in his training sessions and always keen to try new ideas. An ex-NZ Navy officer and trainer who is up for any challenge. Rick is passionate about developing our staff education and is always available to answer questions and receive feedback about your exercising environment or team.

Jo Hawker (jojo)

Jo has been a stable within the Stadium for many years now. A fun, methodical, and passionate trainer who also teaches a very popular HIIT class on Tuesday nights (6pm). Her hobbies include climbing mountains weekly, house renovations, posting funny workout videos online. You’ll most likely hear Jo laughing in the gym because she loves to tell you good stories.

catherine buckingham (cat)

You’ll see Cat very early most mornings as she is committed to opening the gym at 5am. A dynamic, easy going, but smartly structured trainer who focussing on creating functional results. Cat loves instructing our Going for Gold strength and balance classes, and has a big interest in the Exercise is medicine concept teaching a Parkinson specific group fitness class on Tuesdays (11am). She makes really great soap in her spare time.

Anguelle feyt

Anguelle joined our team in 2020 and comes all the way from South Africa. Extremely passionate about exercise, and is dedicated to working her clients and members hard to get the results they want. She has a beautiful young daughter who keeps her busy when she’s not in the gym. Anguelle is also teaching group fitness classes including recently taking onboard Aqua aerobics plus she’s smiley and always ready to help you at short notice.

Tash Harris

Tash is our most recent addition to the gym team but she is not new to the personal training scene. You may recognise her from the main reception downstairs where she assists with accounts. When Tash is training members she loves to challenge them always, in all ways to get the best results. “Nutrition is key,” something she stands by. Tash is a keen sports woman who has a passion for recreational diving and loves hiking in her spare time.

Spin is the indoor cycling workout where you discover your athlete within. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials and interval training. 

power is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit-fast! Using light to moderate weights with high frequency power will give you a total body workout.

A total body, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. this interval based class combines strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to build fuctional fitness that will challenge you every step of the way.

Hatha yoga is a physical and spiritual journey designed to challenge your strength, flexibility and mindfulness. Classes will be 45 - 50 minutes long and is $5.00 for members or $10.00 for a casual class.




Moving, twisting, and using equipment to add resistance in chest deep water.  Buoyancy of the water reduces weight bearing stress, allowing greater ease of movement with less strain on bones, joints and muscles.

A low impact aqua aerobics in chest deep water. Gentle movements using the water and equipment as resistance. The density of the water assists in the strengthening of muscles with greater balance and efficiency.

Stadium 2000 have fitness professional staff that are now trained to provide a group fitness class specific for Parkinson's that includes skills and drills adapted from a wide variety of activities including sport, dance and boxing. This class will be high intensity and fun.
